BRIEF
BrandCulture worked closely with Woollahra Council to create the wayfinding design to ensure it honoured the extensive history of the historic St Brigid’s building, while creating an exciting new space for the community in a historic 122-year-old building overlooking Sydney Harbour. Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf is Sydney’s newest public art gallery and includes a cultural hub, which will house the Woollahra Council Artist in Residence Program and host workshops, talks, and programs for artists.
SOLUTION
BrandCulture incorporated tactile signage and simple, clean design, extending throughout the site linking the gallery space and the cultural hub, keeping in with the beautiful architecture, that was restored and reinvented by Tanner Kibble Denton Architects to create four high calibre exhibition spaces while keeping all of the original details including crown moulding, arched windows and original wooden flooring.
