The last of 9 smart wayfinding totems for the University of Technology, Sydney now stands proudly in front of the iconic Dr Chau Chak Wing Building. Not only does this help UTS claim ownership of this Sydney landmark, but embedded technologies in the totem create a digital gateway for students and visitors to access useful information to enhance their journey. With each smart totem located at key entry points to the campus, all that visit can access the digital assistant. The service allows sign information to be read aloud, translated and be searched all from the palm of their hand! The searchable campus directory gives access to floor plans to assist anyone on campus in finding their final destination.
