Brief
Last year, BrandCulture was commissioned to implement a wayfinding system for a state-of-the-art building designed by BVN, which houses the new Emergency Department at Sutherland Hospital. Visiting Emergency is invariably stressful, so we knew the hospital’s wayfinding system had to provide absolute clarity to visitors.
Solution
Richard Crookes Constructions asked BrandCulture to review existing signage designs and location plans. After mapping all external and internal sign locations, we refined the design of identification signage and wall graphics, relocating the Emergency sign to improve its visibility. In consultation with a diverse team of stakeholders, we implemented a wayfinding system that delivers visitors to Emergency as quickly as possible, minimising stress in a stressful environment.
