BrandCulture wins Gold & Silver at the 2019 Sydney Design Awards

On Tuesday night, we celebrated the talents of Sydney’s design community at the 2019 Sydney Design Awards.

We’re thrilled to have won Gold and Silver trophies at the 2019 Sydney Design Awards for two incredible projects created for incredible clients.

We won Gold in the wayfinding category for Oran Park Library – a community space designed by architects Brewster Hjorth with construction by ADCO Constructions.

For 48 years, Oran Park Raceway hosted adrenaline-fuelled events for huge, cheering crowds, but the raceway closed in 2010 to make way for Oran Park Library. It was BrandCulture’s role to design signage and wayfinding features that weave the story of Oran Park Raceway into the built environment so that future generations feel connected to its past.

We’re also immensely proud to have played a role in the launch of Australia’s first purpose-built resort for people with permanent damage to their spinal cord, Sargood on Collaroy. This project won Silver in the wayfinding category.

Of course, awards are never won alone. Thanks to everyone involved in these projects, from the ground up, across all disciplines – interiors, architecture, builders, engineers and specialist designers. Needless to say, we’re excited to add these trophies to our mantelpiece!
