Interiors Australia - Sydney Office

The reception incorporates a sunset image applied to a glass wall which is colour balanced to match the silk feature carpet.

Interiors Australia Group’s (IAG) new home in Pitt Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD is a perfect example of environmental graphics working seamlessly with the textures and finishes in the environment.

The feature wall in the reception area was designed to float off the floor on a stainless steel channel, the colours of sunset images matching those used in the graduating silk carpet. The sunset is actually made up of hundreds of past and current project images from IAG.

The supporting graphics used throughout the environment were supplied to BrandCulture by Interior Australia to be integrated into the environment finishes. The colours were managed to be in line with the reception area, creating a seamless experience traversing the office space.

Some of the graphics were printed to a metallic finish ‘ diabond board affixed to the walls, showing the transition from winter through spring to summer and ending in autumn. These wall panels followed the visual line continuing onto the boardroom on floating glass blades fixed off of the exterior wall.
