While we love our wayfinding and environmental graphic design, it’s always massive fun to work on a project at the edges of the branding field. While we can’t share the client that this is for just yet, we recently reviewed the pouring of a set of annual award trophies designed by BrandCulture.
… yes, you read that right. Pouring.
The trophies are made from cast glass, with the challenge that we had to integrate a special dichroic (or iridescent) effect into the final product.
The bespoke design that is the cornerstone of our work requires constant attention to detail, research, talking to experts in diverse fields and regular site and factory visits. All of this ensures that the design intent is followed through and the client is thrilled with what they receive. It’s this kind of process and endless learning that we love.
These trophies have a fair bit of polishing and finishing to go, but based off what we’ve seen to date we can’t wait to see the final product.
